Asian Goberge Salad with Mango, Avocado and Spicy Mayo


This has become an instant hit at my Chanukah party this year and I’m thrilled to be sharing it with you.




For the salad:

5 packages kosher goberge, such as Dyna-sea, shredded

3 ripe, sweet mangos, such as Alpha mangoes from Brazil

2 green onions, sliced thin

4 ripe avocados, preferably Hass, sliced or diced

1/2 English cucumber, de-seeded and sliced in half moon


For the spicy mayo dressing:

1/2 c. japanese mayo

1 tbsp. wafu wasabe dressing

pinch of sea salt

3 tbsp. or less sriracha sauce



Place all the ingredients in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, mix spicy mayo ingredients thoroughly.

Pour over salad ingredients and stir well to combine.
